Aaron Rents is gone, the pieces separated into recycling-friendly piles of rubble. The demolition company is hard at work on the old Kroger building now.
Sitar India Palace is still open, as reported. There are signs directing traffic around the fencing into the parking area.

Do you know what’s to become of Sitar? Will it stay open? Will other things re-open around it? Is it staying put or moving?
They are staying, while construction goes on around them. There is supposed to be a second location on 15-501, I believe near the ABC store on that service road.
They plan to open new location in the old Lone Star building directly across Chapel Hill Blvd. Durham News reports an expected opening in October.
