Yes, I think last time we were there, one of mine removed shoes before attempting to pass under the 4′ archway, and hunched over to resemble something that came out of the belfry at Notre Dame, at which point we realized we’re just too big. :(
When you get the kids psyched up to go play on the ‘big smelly shoe’ (which actually doesn’t smell), and then arrive to find they’ve sprouted two inches in as many months, it’s so tempting to turn a blind eye for just the one visit. It’s obviously much safer for the tiny ones playing if we keep our big ol’ monster-giant-babies away. lol
Oh, that’s sad. Same here. And same with balls and bubbles at the museum.
The key to the balls & bubbles is to keep an under-7 year old around… older siblings are allowed to go along. :)
